Hey everyone and Happy New Year! I’m so excited for what’s in store this year for The Beauty Section, I’ve already been working on some great things… giveaway hint hint so stay tuned for that! Today I am talking to you about a new line of lipsticks by Burt’s Bees. Keep reading because you will want to know all about these!
New Burt’s Bees Lipsticks
We all know Burt’s Bees right? They mostly have skincare and lip balm… but now they have come out with some really cool lipsticks that everyone will love.
What they say:
“Finally, a lipstick that loves you back. New Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lipsticks deliver luscious, bold color you’ll love, along with naturally moisturizing ingredients that love your lips in return. With a smooth, satin finish and 14 versatile shades, Burt’s Bees Lipsticks soften and condition lips all day long, thanks to a natural formula featuring Beeswax, Moringa Oil and Raspberry Seed Oil.”
I absolutely love the packaging on these new lipsticks. Each lipstick comes in a brown rectangle tube with a honeycomb pattern in the lid revealing the color of the lipstick inside the tube. These are the most lightweight tubes of lipstick I’ve ever had, I don’t know how they make them so lightweight (I’m assuming they are made from recycled items), but that really makes it nice when you carry a bunch of lipstick in your purse.
Price & Where to Buy:
These are $8.99 each with 14 full coverage, satin finish shades Available at Target. I found mine on an end of a aisle display.
Left to right: Lilly Lake, Magenta Rush, Brimming Berry, Juniper Water.
Moringa, Raspberry Seed Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E – Moringa oil is full of essential fatty acids and helps to soften and condition skin, while Raspberry seed oil improves skin elasticity, keeping your lips feeling lovely
I really enjoy these lipsticks! Now I am a girl that wears matte lipsticks almost everyday, but like I’ve said before on here, sometimes my lips just need a break, and these are a really great break.
These lipsticks hydrate and moisturize dry lips for 8 hours which is super helpful. What I really like about them too is how lightweight they are on the lips, they barely feel like they are on the lips.
Out of the 14 colors, I picked 4 and amongst those, the colors are bold but because of the moisturizing properties it makes the colors sheer out a bit more. Which is very wearable for work.
I really love these, and I think everyone needs to try them out, they are 100% natural and much better for our lips than other products we put on them (guilty as charged).
Have you tried the Burt’s Bees Lipstick? What did you think?
