All About Dry Conditioner

October 20, 2015 By TheBeautySection 4 Comments

We've heard about Dry Shampoo, but now Dry Conditioner, learn all about it!

Hey everyone!!

It feels like it has been forever since I’ve talked to you guys! Last week was my birthday so I took some time off from blogging, but I totally missed it. Now I am back in the swing of things with an interesting post. All about Dry Conditioner. Keep reading to find out more!

All About Dry Conditioner

So we all know about Dry Shampoo, and if you don’t you can read about it here. But have you used Dry Conditioner?!? When I wash my hair the traditional I always use shampoo and conditioner. My hair can be quiet troublesome if I don’t use conditioner to get out all of the tangles.

We've heard about Dry Shampoo, but now Dry Conditioner, learn all about it!

Well Dry shampoo has been around for a while, it works great at soaking up the excess oil in your hair, without you having to actually wash your hair. So I’m sure you can figure out what Dry Conditioner is right? Of course. It is a conditioner for your hair but it is dry, and you use it on dry hair.

How to Use Dry Conditioner:

Unlike Dry Shampoo, you don’t want to use this on the roots, but focus on the middle to the ends of your hair. Using it directly on the roots can result in your hair looking greasy. So to me this is perfect to use in conjunction with dry shampoo. Spray dry shampoo on the top, and dry conditioner on the bottom.

When you spray this on the middle to ends of your hair it is bringing back some moisture while smoothing and making your hair look fresh. When I use it I always brush it out with either a brush or my fingers.

Style your hair as desired.

We've heard about Dry Shampoo, but now Dry Conditioner, learn all about it!

The Benefits of Dry Conditioner:

  • It brings back life to dull hair
  • Detangles knotted hair
  • Smooths frizziness
  • Gives hair a soft touch
  • Smells AMAZING

The only brand of Dry Conditioner I’ve tried is Pureology and I had it forever before I even started using it. I always assumed it would weigh down my hair, so I just refused to use it. But I was totally wrong, this doesn’t weigh down hair at all. Pureology can be found at Ulta for $24. They even have a matching Dry Shampoo to go along with this, for a second or third day hair match made in Heaven! :)

Who is Dry Conditioner for?

Anyone who doesn’t wash their hair everyday. When I don’t wash my hair sometimes I wake up and my hair looks so gross underneath, around my neck. This is perfect for those days. This will smooth out your hair and honestly make it look so fresh. You don’t just have to use this when your hair is dirty, use this anytime you want extra shine, or to be honest if you just want your hair to smell incredible, this will do the trick.

I love this stuff and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to keep their hair looking and feeling fresh!!

This is something I need to try! I usually don’t wash my hair more than twice a week. It doesn’t really get greasy or gross but it does start to look dry and frizzy so I usually put it up by the second or third day. This might be a way to refresh it!
