Clear Scalp & Hair™ Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Hey friends!

I feel like it’s been a while since I did a post, since I only did one last week! I hope you had a great relaxing Labor Day Weekend! :) Today I am talking about the Clear Scalp & Hair™ Shampoo & Conditioner so stick around if you wanna learn more!

What They Say:

“Drink up, shine on. Clear Intense Hydration Shampoo is the dry, damaged hair remedy that is clinically proven to help replenish the scalp with essential 24 hour hydration and makes hair resilient to dryness for soft, silky tresses. With Cactus extract, a known hydrator.”

Price & Where to Buy:

This is $4.99-$5.99 and is available at any drugstore.

Product:

The Clear Scalp & Hair™ Systems are made to make your scalp healthy. You won’t have healthy hair if your scalp isn’t healthy first.

If you’ve seen the commercials you know that Clear Scalp & Hair™ comes in different formulations, for example this one is Intense Hydration. This formulation is meant to seriously hydrate your hair. The shampoo and conditioner are both very creamy, the shampoo lathers amazingly well, and they both smell great. Remember a little goes a long way.

This has really great ingredients in like: B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils, glycerin & aloe vera.

How to Use:

Now we all know how to use shampoo and conditioner, but with this system I recommend not using any other shampoos or conditioners at the same time. If you saw my “What’s in my Shower” post, you know I have a problem with collecting shampoo and conditioner, so discontinuing use of every shampoo I use was different for me. But doing so definitely showed me how continuing use of one product over 30 days really works for the scalp and hair.

  1. Lather the shampoo in wet hair, take this time to massage the scalp really well.
  2. Rinse out the shampoo and apply the conditioner.
  3. I always let conditioner sit for a couple minutes while I wash my body and wash my face.
  4. Rinse the conditioner out and you are good to go.
  5. Repeat if needed.

This is my hair after using this system for 30 days. My hair kind of looks a bit frizzy at the top, but that’s mainly because it’s styled into a hot mess (my fault). But as you can tell my hair looks nice and healthy.

Final Thoughts:

I really love the Clear Scalp & Hair line, and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially anyone suffering from a dry scalp. Sometimes I felt like the Intense Hydration was a little too hydrating for me. I have oily hair already so sometimes adding the extra hydration made it even worse. I personally think other formulations would work better for me. However, I think this is really a great shampoo and conditioner, especially for the Fall/Winter months when it is cooler. I will say certain shampoos make my scalp itchy and really irritated, but this didn’t cause irritation at all. I definitely think everyone should try this!

I was having issues with dry scalp awhile ago, so I tried the “reverse shampoo method.” You use conditioner first, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and then rinse it out. You use the shampoo last to get all of the conditioner out. It turned out that my dry scalp was due to product getting left in my hair. My hair has felt so much cleaner and my scalp hasn’t been dry!

Yea I’ve heard about doing that!! Because my hair is already kind of oily that would never work for me! But I’m glad to know that does work!!
