Hey girls!!
The weekend is almost here do you have any big plans If you follow my blog on Facebook (Shameless plug here) you saw that I recently made a trip to the Cosmetic Company Store/Outlet or CCO. I found some really great items from my best friends Bobbi, Estee, and Mac! Keep reading to see the deets on what I got! :)
What is a CCO?
A Cosmetic Company Store/Outlet (CCO) is a cosmetic, skincare, and fragrance store where all merchandise is discounted at 30% off the regular price. A lot of the items in a CCO include things from a past collection or discontinued items, but there are several things there that you can still buy at a department store for full price. CCO’s are really cool stores, but sometimes they can be hit or miss, so if you don’t live close to one you may not want to waste the trip to go to one. Luckily I only live about 20 minutes from mine (but I always forget to go to it). CCO’s are owned by Estee Lauder so every brand in the store is a company owned by Estee!
Let’s jump right in and see the goodies I found…

Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush in Fearless: This is a gorgeous color, perfect for summer. I walked by it a few times in the store and it really just kept catching my attention. It reminds me a lot of the Pantone Color of the Year, which is Radiant Orchid. I’ve worn it on my cheeks a couple times and I love how glowly it made my skin look. Like a really nice glow from within type of glow. The swatch I did above looks a like a little scary in-your-face type of blush but I just did several layers so you can see the color really well. Use a light hand when applying this and it is such a beautiful flush of color. It also lasts on the cheeks all day long with no fading!
The packaging is gorgeous (I couldn’t take a picture because it is very reflective packaging). It comes with a nice size mirror and a small brush. This color isn’t sold anymore but there are several colors that are very similar to it. Check your local CCO for the same color | Retails for $30. I paid $21.

Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Bluebell OF: This is another one that kept jumping out at me in the store. I swatched it a couple times in the store and decided to get it. I love the fact that it’s such an electric blue that it almost looks like it’s “turned on”. I’ve used it once with a bronze color on the lid and ran this on my lower lash line for a pop of color, it’s the perfect look for this time of year. It was a little more chalky than I was expecting but it definitely still works. This isn’t sold in stores anymore either but there is a really great dupe for it for a fraction of the cost. Click here to see it. | Retails for $22, I paid $15.50

Mac Paint Pot in Stormy Pink: I love Paint Pots! They are a really great base that prolongs the wear of your eye shadow, or they can be worn alone and they won’t crease all day. I really liked this color because it can be paired with lots of different eye shadows, like purples, browns, pinks, and grays. I love that it has a gray/pink tone. I’ve worn it a couple times and it lasts all day long, I actually had a hard time getting the swatch off my hand. This is still sold on Mac’s website or at the counter. | Retails for $20, I paid $14.
Mac Pro Longwear Lipglass in Persistent Peach: I love the color of this, it’s a really good summer color. I had never bought a Mac Lipglass before because I’m more of a lipstick girl. And this maybe my last Lipglass… I had always heard they are sticky. Everyone that has said that was not lying by any means, it’s mega sticky which is a big change from wearing lipstick that you can’t even really feel. I love the color, but the consistency is just a little too thick and sticky for my personal liking. When I would talk to people it kept gooping (I made that up, just go with it) up in the corner of my mouth. I will wear it, I will just use a thin layer. Don’t let this discourage you from getting it, if you are used to wearing lipgloss you may love it. This is also still available on Mac’s website or at the counter. | Retails for $20, I paid $14.
So there was my most recent trip to the CCO! I found a lot of great items that I will be using all summer long, and I saved some money!! Woohooo!! :)
And just to put this out there, I wouldn’t wear all of these at once, then I may look like a clown that went too heavy on the makeup and no one wants to see that!
Have you ever been to a CCO? What is your favorite cosmetics store?
I think there is a CCO in the mall near me but I have never been in it before. I may need to check it out, it sounds like they have some great deals! I do almost all of my shopping for beauty products at Ulta. I love their rewards program! I usually save a lot because they send me deals based on the products I buy.
Yea check it out sometime, and like I said sometimes it can be a hit or miss! And oh girl I love Ulta, I do most of my beauty shopping there too and love it! I love that it’s high-end and drugstore in one store. Genius. The people that work at my Ulta know my name. I don’t know if I should be embarrassed by that or not! :)
I wish I had a CCO near me! But, alas, Oklahoma doesn’t get any of the cool shops.
Aww what a bummer! Maybe the next time you travel somewhere you can look for one nearby! :)
