I’m doing a few more posts this week than I normally do since I will be taking off the whole week next week to celebrate Christmas!! Yay!! I just can’t believe January is right around the corner…ahhh! Anyways today I am showing you what is in my December IPSY Bag…the last one of the year. Come see what’s inside.
IPSY: Is a $10 a month beauty subscription program filled with 4-5 goodies each month. It’s super easy to sign up, but also easy to cancel if you just don’t like it. After doing it for a long time I still get excited to get my bag each month. Sign up HERE to get your own.
December IPSY Bag:
1 // Swissco Electroplated Eyelash Curler: I haven’t used this yet, but just from feeling it and looking at it, it does look kind of cheap. I don’t use eyelash curlers anyways, so I will probably be passing this on to someone else. | $5
2 // NYX Butter Lip Balm in Marshmallow: This smells really yummy and leaves lips feeling nice and buttery. It does leave a nude tint on the lips, but it’s a pretty nude not a dead looking nude…I’m going to apply some now! :) | $3.99
3 // Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara: I’ve used this mascara many times before and it’s really great. It gives good volume, and length and it stays put all day long. Love this. | $10 Deluxe size.
4 // Pixi Fairy Dust in Brightening Bare: Doesn’t the name of this product just sound so cute… I mean who doesn’t want to be a fairy? This is a pretty eye shadow, but honestly there isn’t anything special about it. It’s a really good neutral, in fact it’s so close to my skin when I tried to swatch it for a picture you couldn’t even see it. I haven’t used this on the lid yet. | $10
5 // BWC (Beauty Without Cruelty) Face Wash: I have used this once, and with skincare it is really hard to tell if it’s going to work for you just by one use. But so far I didn’t notice a big difference in this. It is a gel consistency which can sometimes be drying, but not for my oily skin. It’s free of a lot of things that are bad for our skin, so that’s great! And it smells good :) | $2.99
Overall I wasn’t very impressed with this month’s bag, which is a bummer because it’s the last bag of the year. I was hoping they would have went out with a bang and maybe given us some stuff we can wear for a Christmas party. And the bag itself isn’t that cute to me, it’s very plain compared to some other bags we have gotten this year. Oh well I still love IPSY and always enjoy looking through my bag when I first get it. The value of this bag was $32.
If you get IPSY, did you like your bag?

#4 does sound really cute! Its a shame it is the same tone of your skin though :/
Haha I know right? I did look at Target and they have other colors that would be more fitting for me…wish I could exchange it for one of theirs! :)
They totally should have gone out with a bang, maybe something for New Year’s?! I like the marshmallow lip balm though! It sounds so yummy!
I know, yea maybe they will do something fun for New Year’s, that would be cool! Yea the lip balm is nice, and it comes in a lot of different colors which is nice!

Hmm, this bag isn’t super exciting. I really like the color of that eyelash curler, but I rarely use the one I have, too. I definitely would have thought they would include some festive items for holiday parties. Bummer!
Yea I was kind of bummed, last year the December bag was way more festive. Oh well :)
i got the same minus the last item!
Yea I wasn’t too thrilled this month! :/
$10 buck a month for a little surprise make-up fun! This sounds so great!
I know right?! It is really fun!!!

I had no idea that the Tarte mascara was so inexpensive. I’ll definitely be trying it next!
Well that’s for the Deluxe size, which is kind of like a travel sized product, the regular size I think is like $23 or so. But if you don’t want to spend that much, definitely try the deluxe size because it will still last quiet a while.
Business Casual Style
Not bad, although I would expect more festive things:) Love your blog!
Yea that’s what I was thinking too! Thanks so much!! :)
