DIY Mother’s Day Basket

The gifts you put inside your Mother’s Day Basket can be tailored to the things she likes, but seeing this is a beauty blog I wanted to keep it pretty beauty related… and hey my mom loves beauty stuff too!

How To Make the Basket:

You’ll need a basket, basket filler, and a ribbon. This is so easy, but here is what I did…

1 // Place the basket filler in the bottom of the basket, this just gives it more cushion allowing the items you put in the basket to stand up more.

2 // Take your ribbon and start wrapping the handle of your basket, all I did was twist and pull. My ribbon was long enough to go back the other way, then I just tied it off with a knot. (if your basket doesn’t have a handle, you can go around the outside of the basket and tie a bow in the front.)

You can tie a bath loofa or bookmark to the handle of the basket to add a little something to it.

What’s Inside:

I’m not a mom, but just as a woman I tried to think of things that would be pampering or relaxing so in the basket I included;

1 // Sleep Body Wash from Bath and Body Works… this is so relaxing!!

2 // 60-Second Manicure Hand Scrub from Bath and Body Works… I swear by this stuff!

3 // Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray… smells and feels amazing!

4 // Vaseline Hand and Nail Cream… great to use after the hand scrub!

5 // Oceanside Candle from Bath and Body Works… this is a very calming scent, perfect to light while taking a bubble bath.

6 // Bath Loofa

Like I said everything you include in the basket can be tailored to your mom. You could also include a gift card to her favorite nail salon, restaurant, or clothing store. Whatever you do, I know your mom will appreciate it!
