Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great day today! Last week I celebrated 8 years on this blog! I didn’t actually blog about it like I normally do… oops! But I CANNOT believe I’ve had this blog for EIGHT years, that’s crazy to me. It’s been a really fun ride and I don’t blog nearly as much as I used to, but it’s still a fun little passion of mine. If you are new here stick around for a while and check out my old posts (don’t judge the bad pictures).
So today I wanted to talk to you about this perfume company called Dossier. If you like perfume and smelling good, you are going to want to read this review, I promise…
Dossier Perfume Review.
So let’s just get right to it…
What is Dossier?
“Dossier was founded out of a desire to make premium fragrances accessible to everyone. As scent enthusiasts ourselves, it became impossible for us to turn a blind eye to the price markups traditionally seen in the industry. Whether it be marking up scents because of celebrity endorsement fees or pricey packaging, we realized perfumes were being sold for way more than they cost to make.”
So basically Dossier is a company that uses the same scent notes as high end perfumes, without any price markups. So anyone can smell amazing, and feel great because you didn’t break the bank.
They have fragrances, for women, men and unisex as well.
How it works.
You can go to the Dossier website and take a quiz, this quiz will help pick the perfect scent for you after you answer a few questions. Or if you have a luxury scent that you know you love, but don’t want to pay the high price, you can search the name of that scent on the websites search bar. If they have a scent that is inspired by your search, they will show you.
Packaging.
The packaging for Dossier perfumes is very simplistic and modern. It is a simple clear bottle with a white label, the label has the name of the fragrance as well as the fragrance notes. It has a simple spray nozzle with a magnetic cap. Part of how they can keep their prices so low is the cost of packaging is much less than luxury perfumes.
My experience.
I remember seeing ads for Dossier on Facebook, but I just stored those away in the back of my mind. For my birthday last year I got the Juliette Has a Gun, Not a Perfume fragrance. I had smelled it and sprayed it on me another time and I fell in love with it, it smelled amazing and lasted a long time on the skin. Well when I got it for my birthday I used it every day for a week hoping I would love it. I don’t know what was different about this perfume, but I could barely smell it, and what I could smell didn’t last even an hour before the smell was completely gone. I’m not sure about you, but I don’t want to pay $135 for a perfume I can’t smell myself. (I know this particular perfume smells different on everyone, but mine was literally non-existent).
So cue, DOSSIER. That ad I had stored in the back of my mind, came to the forefront and I went to their website as fast as my fingers would type. I searched for Juliette Has a Gun, Not a Perfume and THEY HAD IT. For $29!!! But that’s not what got me, I read tons of reviews from people who had the original and so many said this is an exact dupe. I knew I had to buy it. I waited for it to get to me before I returned the original $135 one so I could truly compare. You guys they are SPOT ON! I was blown away. This is literally the place to buy perfume!

Final Thoughts.Β
This is a no brainer to me! This website is amazing, the scents are amazing. They are so spot on to original scents without the hefty price tag, so you can buy up a bunch of these and switch up your scent all the time. The website is easy to use and they always seem to be running some kind of deal. Seriously get yourself some of these, you won’t regret it!
