Hey Friends! I hope you are doing amazing today and that you have had a great week! Today I am talking about some hair care, a website and a subscription box. Keep reading to find out more.
eSalon Review
Okay so if you have never heard of eSalon before you are probably wondering what the heck it is…Basically it’s the only website you need for hair stuff. If you are into hair care this site is for you, if you are into dying you hair at home, this site is for you, if you want to a have a personal crafted hair experience with a professional stylist, this site is for you.
It sounds amazing right?!
I found out about eSalon on YouTube from Samantha Schuerman, she’s a blondie like myself. She was talking about some of their “purple products” or brass reducing treatments and I knew I had to jump on them. Sometimes I have the hardest time from keeping my hair from turning brassy (honestly, it’s a pet peeve of mine.)
I found the site very easy to navigate and user friendly. I searched through the hair toning products and found exactly what I was looking for.
Devoted to Hue: “Professional-grade mask temporarily deposits intense tones to revive or enhance hair color. Ideal for color-treated hair.” / This mask is great if you want more of a gentle toning, preferably if your hair is just a little brassy. Let me just tell you it makes my hair so soft and smooth, I’m just so into it! $19
Tinted Love Color Enhancing Treatment: “Salon treatment that temporarily intensifies, enhances or neutralizes hair color. Ideal for color-treated hair.” / This is perfect when your hair is pretty darn brassy, like when it’s almost time for your hair appointment and you notice your hair just isn’t looking all that anymore. $15
Both products above come in a variety of colors that will color correct your hair… not just for blondes.
Heart Lock It Color Care Shampoo: “Sulfate-free shampoo that cleanses with gentle lather. Ideal for color-treated hair.” / This is a great shampoo for anyone with colored hair… blonde, brunette, pink, green you got me? It isn’t going to strip your hair color, but does make your hair feel clean. $15
The Match~Up:
Okay so, after browsing around on the site and adding things to my cart, I went to pay. I noticed there was a huge discount and all 3 things in my cart were just $5 each!! I couldn’t believe what a deal I was getting. My total came to $15 and some change… for THREE hair care products, it’s hard to find a deal that good even in the drugstore.
After I submitted the order I was still not sure what just happened, but still totally excited about my new hair products on their way to me.
I ended up getting an email confirmation later letting me know I had enrolled in The Match~Up… huh? I did? When? But because I bought 3 products, it automatically enrolled me into a subscription program that sends you the same products every so often (you determine how often you want them). I thought… how cool is this?! I’m pretty sure you can customize what you get each time if you need to.
I absolutely love the concept of this, I mean who has time to reorder your favorite hair care products every couple months?! But, even though I love it, I did end up cancelling my subscription, only because I don’t use the purple products as often as they would be sending it to me so it just didn’t make sense. But if you found products that you use everyday that you are likely to run out of at the same time every few months this program has your name written all over it.
Final Thoughts:
Okay, so I know this post is super wordy, but here are my final thoughts… the whole concept to me is super cool. I love that I can talk to a professional about my hair, I can get products shipped to me on a schedule, and the quality of the products I’ve used. I’m seriously into this company and will use them for a long time.
Horray to you if you made it to the bottom! :)
Have you ever heard of eSalon? Are you likely to try them now hearing about them?
