Hey Friends!!
Today I am going to share with you a review of the EX1 Invisiwear Foundation. If you follow me on Instagram (follow here), I posted a picture of this foundation 18 weeks ago (Instagram told me so), telling you guys I would do a review of it… well 18 weeks passed and I’m now on my second bottle, so I thought I should really do a review this time. Keep reading for a review and demo on this foundation.
EX1 Invisiwear Foundation Review+Demo
What it is:
“Say hello to a flawless complexion with EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation. This lightweight foundation is specially formulated for Asian, Middle/Far-Eastern or Mediterranean complexions, and is enriched with light diffusers to cleverly detract light away from lines, wrinkles and blemishes. Formulated with ‘true colour’ pigments, it blends perfectly with your skin tone, creating a natural, skin-on-skin effect.
The non pore clogging formula is 100% oil and fragrance free, making it suitable for even the most sensitive of complexions. Smooth and velvety, this luxurious foundation will banish imperfections to leave you with even, clear and radiant skin.”
Packaging:
I like the packaging a lot! I love that it has a pump for easy use, and the copper details give it a nice chic look. I will say I keep my makeup in a drawer, so this foundation has to lay down, and I noticed when the product started getting low it was pretty hard to get out of the bottle and I still have some left from my first bottle that just will not come out. Not a deal breaker though.
Price & Where to Buy:
Right now this foundation is $18.87 but I swear that changes every time I look at it. Both times I’ve bought it I paid $15. It is only available on lookfantastic.com (a UK beauty site) and they always have some coupon code and FREE shipping worldwide! I’ve only had one issue where my order got lost, but after contacting them they expedited another one.
Product:
This foundation is a lightweight flawless looking coverage that actually covers what you don’t want seen but still lets your skin breathe. You won’t look or feel cakey at all, it won’t feel heavy or greasy. It’s just a really nice finish. I have really oily skin and this lasts on me for a long time before I need to blot. This foundation looks really great in pictures, so it’s perfect for events where you may have your picture taken a lot, or if you just like to take those selfies! :)
As you read above this foundation is geared towards Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean skin, and you are probably looking at me and thinking I’m not any of those, but I do have some yellow undertones in my skin. If you have olive or yellow undertones this may be a great foundation for you, if you are a really fair with pink undertones unfortunately it won’t work. The color choice is pretty limited with only 5 shades.
Demo:
Sorry the lighting is a little different in some of these pictures, I think my neon shirt was throwing it off. :)
I’ve already moisturized and primed my face (post on that soon), and have done my eye makeup as well.
I apply 1 1/2 pumps of the foundation onto a Sigma F80 (holy grail brush for me).
I dot the foundation onto my face before buffing it in.
Start buffing in the foundation all over the face with the F80.
Foundation is all on, if you want more coverage you could go back in with another coat. I typically keep it at one coat.
I applied the rest of my makeup and as you can see it gives a flawless finish and looks really great in pictures. For reference I am currently the lightest shade which is F100, I started wearing this last summer and I was F200.
Final Thoughts:
I absolutely love this foundation, if I didn’t I wouldn’t have purchased it twice. It really looks flawless on the skin without being heavy. I have been asked several times when I’m wearing this what foundation I use. I wish this was formulated for more skin tones because it is such a gorgeous finish, but not everyone will be able to wear it. I highly recommend this to anyone with olive or yellow skin tones though! I can see this being a staple in my makeup collection for years to come!
What is your favorite foundation?
Hi I want to try this foundation in the lightest shade but I read some comments that f100 is more pink than yellow, what do you think?
I don’t think it is too pink at all, in fact I think most of the shades are yellow based. The lightest shade is probably the most neutral out of them all. What is your skin tone?
Just discovered your blog – you’re so pretty!! I just purchased this foundaiton, can’t wait to try it out :)

Aww thank you so much!! I hope you love it as much as I do!! :)
great review, this sounds fabulous! Great coverage AND lets your skin breath!? Amazing!
Thank you! Yes this foundation is amazing!! I love it!! :)
Wow, I have never ever heard of this brand and it sounds like something I would love too. We seem to have a very similar skin type and even color I think. I must check this out. Oh: I love that lipstick color on you! So cute! xoxo, Sissi
Yea you should definitely check out this foundation! I love it so much, it really lasts a long time and looks so good in pictures! If you try it let me know what you think of it! :)
This foundation sounds really great! I don’t wear liquid foundation every day because I had issues with breaking out and just not having great skin in general while I was using it. But when I do my makeup for a special occasion, I like to start with a liquid foundation and then do my BareMinerals on top to make my skin look flawless. I just ran out of the liquid foundation I keep on hand, so maybe I’ll try this one next.
Yea this is definitely a good foundation for special events because it looks so good in pictures! You should definitely try this out, I love it!! Just keep in mind the shades can be pretty dark! :)
You make me totally want to get this foundation!! That’s really awesome that they offer free shipping, and that they have coupon codes handy. That makes this foundation really affordable, in my book. Pretty much drugstore-priced. Like L’Oreal, or something. :-)
This is on my list of things to get in the coming months, gal. Your rave review convinced me. And I have Latino in my blood, so while I am pretty darn pale, I have a yellow undertone. Which typically makes it a pain for me to find a good foundation match for me at the drugstore. But this brand looks like it would have something for me! :-)
Girl you gotta try this out! I just love it so much! As you can see in the pics it looks so flawless! Yea the price is great, especially with the free shipping and coupons! If you get it in the coming months you will probably be darker then so the color selection shouldn’t really be a problem for you! I do wish however that it came in lighter shades for my really pale friends! Can’t wait till you try it and tell me how you love it! :)
Wow, this looks like an amazing product, and your review of it is very helpful! I love the ‘how-to’ shots, too!
It is definitely amazing!! Aww great! Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
