Hey everyone! I hope you are doing amazing today! We all want bright beautiful clear skin right? Today I am reviewing the Garnier SkinActive® Clearly Brighter™ Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer SPF 15. Keep reading to find out my thoughts and see some before/after pictures.

What it is:

“A clinically proven daily moisturizer with Antioxidant Vitamin C and SPF 15 that works quickly and effectively to even out tone and texture for visibly brighter, smoother skin in just 1 week.”* Garnier SkinActive® is “the active way to visibly healthier skin”, they don’t want us to just use something with bogus claims that mean nothing. Garnier SkinActive® thrives on seeing visibly healthier skin as a result to one of their products actively working.

Packaging:

It comes in a nice sleek plastic bottle with 2.5 oz of product. A green pump makes it easy to dispense the moisturizer evenly.

Garnier SkinActive® Clearly Brighter™ Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 is around $14.99 and can be found at Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Amazon, or any drugstore.

Before & After Pictures:

As a disclaimer in case you can’t tell (I’m sure you can), but I have NO makeup on in either picture. Also these pictures were edited the exact same way, the only difference is they were taken at different times during the day, so the natural lighting may be slightly off in both pictures. Hopefully you can tell the difference between the before and after. Before using this moisturizer for 1 week my skin looked dull with red/pink on the cheeks. I can also see darker pigments in my skin from sun exposure. In the After picture you can tell the redness in my skin has gone down, my skin texture looks a lot smoother and the darker pigments are diminishing. Something you can’t actually see is that my face feels great. The texture on my cheeks is almost completely gone giving me really smooth soft skin. My pores will probably always be large, but when I look in the mirror they look more smooth and smaller than before.

How to Use:

Easy Peasy…

Wash your face in the mornings with your favorite cleanser
Put moisturizer on your entire face and neck.
Do the rest of your beauty routine.

Final Thoughts:

I really love this moisturizer. At first I was a little scared to use it during the day to be honest because if a moisturizer doesn’t say mattifying, normally it just slips off my really oily skin. But this oil-free, lightweight, non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores) product hydrates my skin without it making my makeup become a greasy mess. It has a really nice, refreshing wake-me-up scent that I start to look forward to every morning. This moisturizer actually does live up to all of its claims for smooth brighter skin in 1 week (*In a clinical test). With continued use my skin will look even better! :)
