Hey everyone!
I hope you and your family had a great Easter! Now with the weather warming up it is time to get our feet Summer Ready so when you are wearing those cute sandals or you are at the pool your feet will be smooth as butter! Keep reading to see what I do.
Get Your Feet Summer Ready
This is seriously the simplest routine you can do every single night with 3 simple products and one I can promise you you have at home already.
What You Need:
- Mr. Pumice Bar
- Soap & Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream (Now Sold at TARGET!)
- Socks (neon preferably, but not neccessary)
What to do:
After being in the shower for a little while so your feet are nice and soft, take the Mr. Pumice Bar on the dark purple side (the roughest side) and just really start scrubbing it over the bottom of your entire foot, really focusing on the heels and toes. If you have layers on dead skin on your feet it will start to slough off while doing this. Be careful because after you have gotten all the dead skin off, your feet will be very soft… and slippery in a wet shower.
After you get out of the shower and dry your feet off, slather them with Soap & Glory’s Heel Genius Foot Cream, I am pretty much obsessed with this cream, I mean I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. It’s thick and very moisturizing. This type of cream is so thick that it doesn’t really dry which is why you need to put SOCKS on.
If you just cannot stomach sleeping in socks, just do this whole routine a few hours before bed and keep your socks on while you watch your favorite reality tv. When it’s bedtime just slip the socks off.
I try to use the Mr. Pumice Bar once or twice a week, and the cream everyday. Doing this will make your feet feel like you’ve just gotten a fresh pedicure… but you haven’t even left the house.
Are you already wearing sandals? Do you try to keep your feet looking nice for warmer weather months?
My foot doctor told me there are fake toenails in stores for those who’s toe nails were removed. I had no idea. Great idea for sandal weather!
Yea and I think you can get “fake” toenails put on in a nail salon too.
I love pedicures but since we moved I haven’t found the “right” place. I noticed the other day, something MUST give soon! I will be going to Target today!
Haha yes, totally do it! :)
My feet need a little extra love! I think I will do this when I get home tonight! Thank you for sharing!
You are welcome! It’s always nice to pamper our feet! :)
I just go a pedicure to prep for spring! This sounds WAY cheaper and easy to do. Great post!
Oh yea way cheaper, and you can do it everyday! Thanks for stopping by! :)
