I hope you had a great weekend! Today I am talking to you about How To: Clean out Your Pores… I know it sounds gross, but it definitely needs to be done. Keep reading to see the products I use and how to use them!

How To: Clean Out Your Pores

Why it’s important to clean out your pores? 

Pores are good to have, but they don’t need to be clogged up with oils, makeup, and dirt. When they are clogged they get bigger and bigger making them a lot more visible, but it also this can create more acne on you skin, which we all hate. So it’s really important to keep your pores clean of all that gunk.

What Works for Me:

Bioré® has come up with some really great products containing charcoal in them. I don’t know if you know how good charcoal is for cleaning out your pores, but it is literally like a vacuum cleaner sucking out all the bad gunk (gross!).

Two of my favorite charcoal products by Bioré® have to be the Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip and the Bioré® Self Heating One Minute Mask.

Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip

You remember the original pore strips by Bioré® right? Well the Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip are new and EVEN better than those because they have charcoal in them so they are going to draw out excess oil and unclog those pores. After using these your skin will be less oily, which is definitely a plus for me! Just think about it, in just 10-15 minutes you can remove up to a week of buildup on your nose.

How To Use:

1 // Start with a clean face, pat your skin dry but leave the nose and inner cheeks wet. 

2 // Remove the nose strip from the package, twist the strip to loosen and separate slits. 

3 // Place strip on your nose and leave for 10-15 minutes .

4 // When the strip has completely hardened on the nose it is time to remove it. 

5 // Starting at the edges slowly remove the strip working towards the center. 

You will be so impressed with how great this works when you remove the strip, it’s gross but totally satisfying to see all that gunk coming out of your pores. After using this my nose felt so soft, but actually looked completely clean, and my pores looked smaller.

Bioré® Self Heating One Minute Mask

How To Use:

3 // Massage the mask all over your face avoiding your eyes and mouth for 1 minute. As you massage the mask will begin to warm up, add water to keep this sensation going. Keep in mind the mask will not dry or harden. 

4 // After 1 minute rinse the mask off and discover beautiful skin. 

After you have done both treatments I recommend using your favorite moisturizer to balance out your skin.

So that my friends is how I keep my pores clean, let’s be real they can’t always stay cleaned out, but if you use these products at least once a week you are definitely on the right track. If you have oily skin or large pores, or if you just wanna fight off that summer oil I highly recommend this regimen.
