Happy Monday!!
I hope you had a really great 4th of July spent with your family and friends!! I had a great one, and I wish it was a holiday every weekend! :)
I have been LOVING IT Cosmetics as of late and every time I try something new I love it and want more. Today I am doing a review on the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream…say that ten times fast. Stick around to see my thoughts.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream Review

Β What is it?
It is exactly what it says… Your Skin But Better, but it’s also a CC cream packed with tons and tons of really good stuff for your skin. Β It’s full coverage but feels like you have nothing on, and it also doesn’t look like cake face. It’s also color correcting, so if you have any blemishes or dark spots it corrects and covers those places too. Plus it is anti-aging. Oh yea and has SPF 50 in it. A product that can do all of these things while providing great coverage is seriously like my best friend!
How to Use.
This CC cream can be worn under your foundation or alone. I prefer wearing it alone because the coverage is so good I don’t need to put anything but a setting powder over it. And I have really oily skin and this really doesn’t budge throughout the day as much as other BB and CC creams I’ve tried. It is really long lasting if you use a primer at the beginning and a setting spray at the end. I apply this with either a Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki BrushΒ (click here to see my favorite Sigma Brushes_ or a Beauty BlenderΒ (click here to learn how to use a BB) just whatever I’m feeling that day, but you can also use your hands.
Packaging.
The packaging is pretty interesting, it comes in a squeeze tube but with a pump. I like that because when you get really low you can use the squeezy part and squeeze more product up to be pumped out. It is 1.08oz which is a really good size and if you don’t use a lot it will last you a long time.
The Product.
I absolutely LOVE this. They call it a serum but I swear it is just like you a wearing a foundation without the cakey look or without the heavy feeling. In the summer I like to wear something a lot less heavy and thick because it would just melt off your face in the heat and in my opinion this is perfect. It only comes in 5 shades so finding the perfect one may be difficult but if you can’t find one you can always mix it with a foundation you already own in the correct color. As you can see from my swatch because of my tan now the medium shade is far too light, but in the mean time I can use it as under eye concealer or as a highlight. From the picture you can tell just how good it covers.
Price.
It is a bit pricey at $38, but if you use it sparingly it will last you a long time. I don’t wear pricey makeup unless I’m going out or going to be around a lot of people, otherwise I feel like it’s a waste of makeup to wear it when you are just running to the grocery store. So for me things like this last forever. And $38 is definitely worth it. Find out more info or buy here.
Overall Verdict.
I’m in LOVE! How it works so well and does so many great things to your skin I don’t know, but I’m totally a fan. I was hesitant to buy this because of the price tag and luckily it came in my Allure Summer Beauty Box and now I know I love it and I will absolutely repurchase this on my own. Everyone needs this in their lives. I promise you will love it!
Have you ever tried this CC cream? Do you wear lighter makeup in the summer?
I don’t think I have heard one negative word about It Cosmetics. I have been looking for a foundation/cc/bb that I really like for a while now. I need coverage but do not want it to feel heavy on my skin. I’ve also tried a few primers and either the ones I’ve tried just don’t work well at all or just make me feel oilier. That being said, since you said you are oily what primer and setting powder & spray do you use and the It cosmetics cc cream really does well on oily skin? If you have a chance I would really appreciate your answers. You can reply here or email me at reidsrd@hotmail.com. Thanks so much.
Yea I never heard anything bad about their products either so I had to start checking them out myself! This is definitely a great CC cream because it provides super good coverage but not where it weighs your skin down and melts off your face in the heat. I will say though since I’ve been tan this summer I haven’t really worn it as much, so I haven’t worn it in the hottest part of the summer. So from that stand point I really don’t know if it would hold up in really hot heat. I will email you some other things I do for oily skin though for sure! :)
love this!
I’ve heard such great things about this! I need to try it stat. :-)
Yes ma’am you do!! It’s great! :)
I totally have this stuff! I like that it has sunscreen in it. I wore it during a cruise and loves the coverage + protection. I actually got it free in a gift basket :)
Thanks for linking up for MMG!!
I know I love that it covers and protects too! It has so many great benefits that most foundations or tinted moisturizers don’t do. Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been getting more into make up, and face and skin stuff recently and love seeing the products and techniques other people use! Just wish it all wasn’t so expensive, after all, I am a broke college student haha!
Haha oh girl I know! Makeup and skincare can definitely be so expensive. You should really try E.L.F. from Target, they have really good stuff and it’s super affordable. In fact my favorite mascara is from them. Click here to see my review on it. :)
This sounds great! I have a BB cream that I like to use when I don’t feel like putting makeup on. This sounds even better, though. I still need to get one of those Beauty Blenders too!
Yea it’s really great! I have barely been using it now because of the color difference in my skin and the product, but when I’m lighter again I’ll be all over it! And yes you definitely need a Beauty Blender, they are perfection.
