I hope you had a really great weekend!! I’m going to show you everything I got in my July IPSY Bag! So you guys know how much I love getting these fun surprises in the mail once a month, but this month the tracking was completely jacked up and I never got the email about it being shipped and I started getting all kinds of mad thinking they weren’t sending it to me. Drama Drama. Let me show you what I got!
July IPSY Bag
IPSY is a $10 a month beauty subscription service that is freakin amazing and totally worth the $10. Get on it, you won’t regret it! Sign up here.
I really love the hot pink bag with scalloped edges, it’s super cute and a little bigger than the standard IPSY bags so you can fit a lot more in them!
1. Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara: This is a really great mascara, but I just got it in a IPSY bag a few months ago. I’m sure sometimes they have to do repeats on products, but Id rather get a product from a brand I’ve never heard of or something. But if you haven’t tried this mascara you should definitely do that. $10 mini | $23 full size
2. Lavilin’s Jojoba Gel Cream: I haven’t used this yet, but it says it’s really good for softening and hydrating dry skin. I do need to use it because being in the water and sun so much this summer my legs just get so dry. I will though it kind of stinks, like meat cooking in a restaurant. Haha I hope you love the way I describe smells. | $21 full size
3. Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil with SPF 08: I haven’t used this yet, but it’s a pretty good product to include. I have a good tan going on now but like I said above my legs get really dry so this will be great to use the next time I’m laying out. It does smell good, like the typical tanning oil, but I like it. | $11.99 full size.
4. Elizabeth Mott’s Tints and Sass Lip and Cheek Tint: I’ve never tried one of these lip or cheek tints before but I think these are really great for when you don’t want to wear a lot of makeup and you just want to throw on this on your cheeks and lips and run out the door. I tried it on my cheeks and it didn’t really show up that well, but it is buildable. I also tried it on my lips and the color looks really nice, but is a little drying. And don’t really expect longevity out of this. It smells just like cherries which is the perfect smell for this. This is full size for $22.99
5.Bare Mineral’s 5 in 1 BB Cream Shadow: This is a pretty cool product. It does so many things that your typical eye shadow can’t do. It is a primer, lasts up to 12 hours, brightens your eye area, reduces fine lines, and has SPF 15. That’s a crazy amount of goodies in a cream shadow. I tried it and I really liked it, it was one of those days where I wore my makeup for a very long time… try 15 hours and it still looked pretty darn good. I wore it alone, it’s super creamy but it can also be worn with a shadow over it. It didn’t tell the color, but I may actually purchase one of these. That is everything I got in my bag this month and if I’m being honest… and I always am, this bag was very underwhelming. With the whole shipping, tracking and late delivery drama I kind of feel like my bag was an after thought and it was just thrown together last minute, I don’t know maybe I’m wrong. I do however still love IPSY and will still continue to get the bags, sometimes it’s just hit or miss and this month was definitely a miss in my opinion.
