I can’t believe we are wrapping up March and heading straight into April. This year is already getting off to a speedy start. I have a few beauty goodies I loved all month long and wanted to show you, so keep reading to find out more of what I loved!
March Favorites // 2015
1 // Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser: I bought this when it was really cold outside and my skin was really dry. I wanted a cream cleanser because those also help moisturize dry skin instead of stripping it. When I bought it I didn’t realize it had tiny microbeads in it until I used it. This is perfect for gentle exfoliating, so if you have sensitive skin try this. I really have enjoy this, it helped with my dry skin as well as kept my skin moisturized.
2 // Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer: This is a really great primer for anyone with oily skin or large pores. It really blurs out pores to perfection. If you’ve ever used the famous Benefit Pore-fessional this is a lot like that, it has the same cream/mousse type of consistency but I like this one better. This keeps me matte and keeps my makeup in place for quiet a while. I really really love this!
3 // Peach and Honey Almond Shower Gel from Bath and Body Works: Yum this smells so good, and it’s almost empty which makes me so sad. This makes my skin feel so soft, and it lathers really well. Go get you some of this, it’s only $5 now! :)
4 // First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Eye Cream Age Delay: I just love this stuff, it’s easy to use, and great for anyone with sensitive eyes or skin. I do feel like this has made a difference in my eye area. I dab on the product with my ring fingers, applying it under the eyes, to the side of the eyes, and between my eyebrows. Something I found funny was it says it has no scent at all, but to me it smells like a cupcake haha! I will definitely repurchase this when it runs out.
5 // NYX Tame and Frame Tinted Brow Pomade: I’m obsessed with this stuff, it works so well. It literally does exactly what it says, it tames your brows. When you use this stuff your brows aren’t going anywhere, but they still look natural… no sharpie brows here. To me this is VERY comparable to the Anastasia Dip Brow, but much more affordable. I got the color Blonde, and I feel like it’s kind of an odd blonde but it still works.
6 // MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC25: This was my first time using a MAC concealer and now I understand why it gets so much rave on YouTube. This concealer is so creamy and pigmented but does not crease in the under eye area whatsoever. It blends out amazingly, especially with a Beauty Blender. I apply this under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, between my eyebrows, on my cupids bow, and chin to give the face some extra highlight. I absolutely love this stuff and will be a fan for life!!
So those are all of my March Favorites that I have been using non-stop. It’s so fun to discover new and old products you love.
I love to hear what you have been loving so tell me in the comments below! :)
Missed my last post on Vitamins for Hair Growth? Check it out here.
Um, Peach Honey and Almond Body Wash? Yes please! That must smell sooooo good. Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask you if you have a drugstore/inexpensive BB or CC cream you recommend? I just ran out of mine and I was thinking I’d try a new one. I like to put it on in the morning to wear to my nannying job instead of doing my makeup. The one I was using had sunscreen in it too, which was nice since I am outside playing with the girls for at least an hour or so each day.
Yes it smells so good, you should definitely check it out!! Um as far as a drugstore BB Cream I like Lo’Real Magic BB Cream but I’m not sure that one has SPF. For an SPF option the Garnier BB cream is really good, and they have them for different skin types now! Try one of those and let me know what you think! :)
I haven’t tried any of the things you mentioned above, but now I definitely want to! I’ve heard a lot of people talking about that Smashbox primer recently, and I have oily skin and big pores, so that sounds perfect for me! I’ve been looking at that NYX tame & frame stuff like every time I go into Ulta and I still haven’t picked it up yet, so I will for sure do it next time!
Yes the Smashbox primer is really good, especially for large pores. It really blurs them out leaving them flawless to cover with makeup. Definitely try it out. And the NYX Tame and Frame is just so good, it’s really simple to use and does a great job… plus it’s totally affordable!! :)
i’m kinda needing to check out that body wash. it caught my eye and i love anything with peaches i love.
Oh yes it’s great… you will love it!!
My favorites this month would definitely have to be the Tartelette palette, the ITCosmetics CC+ cream! and my Revlon shimmer bricks which I have hit pan on (so exciting)! Thank u for sharing yours!
I have seriously heard so much about the Tartelette palette, I may just have to get that one. Oh yes I LOVE the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, it’s a must have in my opinion! I’ve actually never owned a Revlon shimmer brick, but I have heard of them… isn’t just so exciting to hit pan on a product?! :)
ahh I NEED to try #5 & #6!! I always hear great things! β₯ Great favorites!!
Oh yes you gotta try them both!! :)
Oh Anna! That Peach, Almond Honey Shower Gel sounds amazing! Where can I get that? I have never seen this before but it sounds like I would love it. I enjoyed reading your Favorites very much. I am going on a little Getaway tomorrow starting and donΒ΄t know how much time I have for social media etc- so donΒ΄t wonder. Will be back Tuesday next week! Have a wonderful day my dear, xoxo, Sissi http://www.beauty4free2u.com

I am also using the Peach and Honey Almond scent from B&BW….and it is amazing! I am also a big fan of the Smashbox primer. I am going to have to add the Aveeno Clear Complexion to my shopping list!
Omg isn’t the Peach and Honey Almond just amazing, I love it… I just ran out of mine the other night :(
Yea I think any Smashbox primer is great, but this one really works good with my skin type! Definitely try the Aveeno cleanser, I really enjoyed it! :)
I have the Peach & Honey Almond lotion and i LOVE the scent! I went back to get the spray, soap, and whatever else they had in that scent and it was no longer there :(
Aww that’s a bummer, try buying it online I’ve actually seen it on Amazon, link in post or it’s on B&BW website! :)
I’ve really been wanting to try the MAC Pro Longwear concealer, so I think I’m going to treat myself next time I’m near a counter (it is my birthday week and all haha). That eye cream sounds lovely as well, I’ll have to look into that when my current one runs out!
Oh yea girl, you should definitely try the MAC Pro Longwear concealer, it is super good! And yay for your birthday week, you gotta get yourself some birthday goodies, I always do! :)
I recently bought the Beauty Blender for the first time, and it DEFINITELY is one of my favorites from the past month. It makes my makeup look SO beautiful! Love it :-)
I haven’t tried the MAC concealer, but — like you — I always hear it raved about on Youtube. Good to hear that it really is worth the praise. :-)
Oh yes a Beauty Blender is amazing!! It really makes any makeup look super flawless, in my opinion they are definitely worth the money! You should definitely try a MAC concealer, I’m seriously in love with it! Such good coverage. Although I have never tried it on a blemish or something, so that could be a different story! :)
