Hey everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I am teaming up with BlogHer and Mary Kay to bring you some makeup inspiration. This to me is the perfect look to transition you from Summer to Fall. Even though it is still super hot outside, fall is right around the corner ladies, and we need for our makeup to make a smooth transition. Keep reading to get inspired!

Mary Kay: Sculpted Look

The Look.

Focus is on the lips and brows. The Products:

Clockwise starting with the lipstick…

1 // Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick in Spice ‘N’ Nice

2 // Mary Kay Lip Liner in Dark Chocolate

3 // Mary Kay Beauty Blotter (oil blotting sheets)

4 // Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Rosegold, Hazelnut, and Crystalline in a compact mini.

5 // Mary Kay Black Eyeliner

6 // Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color Duo in Juicy Guava

7 // Mary Kay Mechanical Brow Liner in Blonde

8 // Mary Kay Brow Gel

9 // Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara

How To Get The Look:

Foundation, and powder are not Mary Kay so they won’t be mentioned in this post. If you really want to know what I used leave it in the comments below. This look is really easy to create because it’s minimal eyes with bold brows and lips.

1 // Use the mechanical brow pencil to fill in the brows, with the Eye Smudger Brush apply Hazelnut Eye Color on the high points. Seal the brows with the Brow Gel.

2 // Pat on Rosegold Eye Color with your finger, use the eye color brush to blend. Apply Crystalline Eye Color under the brow and in the inner corner to highlight.

3 // To shape the eyes apply black liner to the upper lash line.

4 // Apply Lash Love Mascara to the lashes for a full lash effect.

5 // Moving on to the face swirl the Cheek Brush into the Cheek Color Duo in Juicy Guava for the perfect coral/peachy/pink blush.

6 // Apply just the highlighter to the high points of the face, like your cheek bones, bridge of the nose, cupids bow, and above the eye brows to brighten the face.

7 // Now for the fun part, apply True Dimension Lipstick in Spice ‘N’ Nice to lips and sculpt the lips with Dark Chocolate lip liner. To make the lipstick matte apply the Beauty Blotter to the lips and gently blot away the shine.

So there you go, I hope this makeup look inspires you. It’s fun and bold, but still subtle enough to wear to work or school. I love a dark lip for fall and I know this look will be right on trend. If you don’t have these exact products, just use whatever you have in your collection and rock it girl!

My “beauty” routine is almost non-existent. Over the years I’ve developed allergies and use less and less makeup. The exception is if it’s a special occasion and then I’ll pay the price later. Daily it’s just wash, brush teeth, and moisturize.

It’s pretty basic, after cleansing my face i use facial moistuizer and throw on some gloss or balm on my lips and that’s it, less than 5 minutes

My makeup routine is fast- 5 minutes tops. I put on my awesome silk feeling foundation, with a bronzer on my cheeks with brown eyeliner and mascara with a berry lipstick.

My make up routine is basic, just foundation, powder and eyebrows. takes about 5 minutes? but I guess I should add lip gloss to the routine as well

I love this look! so nice for a transition to fall! I am DYING for that lipstick! I’ve only ever used light colors on my lips, but I’m temped to start going darker with maroon and mauve for fall, but I’m nervous! You look beautiful, Anna! :)

I love this look. I am blonde with light eyebrows so having a darker brow is dramatic. I think adding a dark lip balances the face. Love your blog. I would love to see you post about the Mary Kay looks on Project Runway.

My make up routine is way shorter than it used to be. It really depends on where I am going as to how much make up I wear. I always wear mascara and a little eye shadow and lip gloss. I takes me about ten minutes to do my make up when I do my whole face.

  Yea it really depends on where I’m going too. If I’m just running out for a quick errand I don’t wear much and can put it on pretty fast. But if it’s more than that I do take my time if I have it!

Very pretty! I love the lip color! I’m totally a three-minute makeup girl–liquid eyeliner and lipstick and that’s it.

Ugh, do I have to admit how long I take to do my makeup routine? Well, on days where I have a time crunch, I can get ready in 30ish minutes….maybe closer to 45, depending on if I’m just doing a simple winged eyeliner look or going for more color on the lids. :-) But if I can take as long as I want and I have no time limit……girl! I can be there all day playing!! :-P
