My Current Anti-Aging Skincare Routine
So, I am 31 years old, and quickly after my birthday I was in a Sephora browsing around, wanting to buy something when it clicked in my head, that I am 31 and I’m going to buy some anti-aging skincare. So I found someone to help me, I told them what I was looking for and she pointed me to Murad, she said she swears by it. If a sales associate at Sephora sounds knowledgeable about a product + they are passionate about it too, it’s pretty much going to end up in my hands, ready for purchase.
After looking at the products she led me to, I bought them. All 3 of them. Let me tell you what they are.
Left to Right.
(in the order I use them)
Retinol Youth Renewal Serum
Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum
Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream
Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Serum: A potent yet gentle retinol serum that quickly and visibly minimizes lines and deep wrinkles, firms, evens skin tone and boosts radiance for more vibrant, youthful-looking skin.
I have been using this since October, and to be honest this skincare line is probably one of the only ones I have used consistently. There have been many days where I just wanted to skip my “night routine” but I knew if I wanted results I had to keep going.
This for sure smooths my face, gives me a youthful appearance, helps with fine lines and wrinkles.
I use a full pump of this for my whole face, I warm it up between my fingers and rub it on my face in an upward motion.
I really love this. It is kind of like a gel/lotion consistency, so it isn’t oily and it doesn’t clog pores. After I smooth it over my whole face it immediately starts to work, soaking into my skin, leaving it ready for the next product.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum: A potent retinol eye treatment that targets key signs of aging by minimizing the look of wrinkles and crow’s feet, visibly firming skin, and brightening dark circles.
Before this eye serum, I was never really consistent in using one. But this has changed that for me. I use it every single night before bed. It is a gel consistency, that goes on smoothly. It isn’t sticky or greasy.
I use half a pump for both eyes. I use my index fingers, rub them together to divide the product and pat pat pat under my eyes, around the sides of my eyes where crow’s feet would form, between my brows and above my brow. So I am basically patting a circle around my eyes. This has worked great for me.
$85
Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream: A luxurious retinol night cream that visibly minimizes lines and wrinkles, smooths skin’s texture, and helps improve the look of firmness and elasticity.
So you may be thinking this sounds a lot like the serum I mentioned before, but this is a night cream, which is much more moisturizing than a serum. A serum is super concentrated and most likely going to be more effective at treating something than a cream is. A cream is a thicker moisturizer, so its main job is to provide moisture.
Anyways, I use this for the hydration. I have oily skin, and this product really sinks into my skin without making it oily. most mornings when I wake up my skin isn’t oily at all, it is just normal and for an oily skin girl, that makes me happy.
The packaging for this is where you push the whole top down and the product comes out. So I use about half of a pump to cover my face. I apply this in an upward motion.
$82
Overal Thoughts:
I really love this whole collection. I can see a difference in my skin from when I first started. Sorry I didn’t do a before/after. What I notice is, my face looks really healthy, it has a healthy natural glow. Also, I don’t see any signs of aging. My skin texture is smooth, with very minimal problems. I use this every night if you have sensitive skin try using it every other night, to begin with. If you are looking for a great anti-aging skincare regimen, I highly recommend this one. It is expensive, but good skincare is an investment, if you can only buy one, I suggest the Youth Retinol Serum. Murad was created by doctors who studied skin forever, that makes me feel pretty confident in their products.
Thank you so much for joining me today, on my 4th Blogiversary! I hope you learned something about Murad Skincare. Please stick around and check out some of my other posts.
What Anti-Aging Skincare do you use?
Anti aging creams is very safe procedure. It is the best way to get rid of skin problem at home. The best thing about using the cream is you don’t have to suffer any side effects and pain. Thanks for sharing.
Superb article, thank you for sharing your skin-care points. As for me, I love the retinol serum, hyaluronic acid serum and Vitamin C serum from PetuniaSkincare.com. There is a definite improvement in the appearance and feel of my skin and I look more younger now. My acne scars have faded as well.
Waaw 4 long blogging years.. really great.. Wish you the best for your upcoming blogging journey..
Thank you so much!!! <3
