Hey hey!
Blush is one of my favorite things, well wait who am I kidding I love everything about makeup… but I do really love blush. The certain shade can make you look like you’ve been playing outside on a cold day and you come back in and your cheeks are naturally flushed. I love that. Today I am reviewing the Paula Dorf Blush in Passion. Keep reading to see how pretty this is!
This product was sent to me from Paula Dorf Cosmetics, but all opinions are 100% my own! :)
Packaging:
The packaging is nice, it comes with 1oz worth of product, so that will last a long time. I do like that you can see through the top so you know exactly what color you are going for when doing your makeup in a hurry. Personally, I wish the packaging was a lid that pops up instead of having to screw the whole lid off, it just takes less time.
Price & Where to Buy:
It is $23 and can buy found at http://www.pauladorf.com/ use the code CHEEK to get 20% off any cheek color.
Product:
The color I received is called Passion and it is a cross between a mauve/pink and coral. I absolutely love the color. It is youthful and gives a really nice natural glow. This is a matte blush but it is really creamy and pigmented, no streaking or looking blotchy with this blush. I do find that is stays on the cheeks for a long time. I’m oily so sometimes blushes will just kind of disappear on me cheeks after hours, but this one stays put until I take it off at night.
The brush I use to apply this blush, and all of my blushes is the Real Techniques Blush Brush…it works amazingly and is super affordable.
Overall Verdict:
I really really love this blush. It has definitely made it’s way into my everyday blush collection. It’s not something you really have to think about, you can just apply it and know it will look really great! You should definitely give it a try, especially with the 20% off.
What is your favorite blush?
Such a pretty and fresh colour! Loks great on you!
Thank you so much!! :)
gorgeous blush!! love that color.
I know, it’s so pretty!!
First of all, that shade is stunning on you! I have never tried any Paula Dorf product but I have read many great reviews on them. I am curious to try though, can I trouble you to recommend what other products from Paula Dorf to try? I will pick up this blusher but would also try other stuff. Thanks! xx

Thank you so much Shireen! I hadn’t really tried them either until I started blogging, but I really do like what I’ve tried so far. The only other thing I’ve tried from Paula Dorf is the Eye Brow Powder and it works really great! I use it pretty much every time I wear makeup! It’s super easy to apply and looks great. Here is my review of it,
I hope you enjoy the blush, let me know how you like it when you buy it! :)
That color is so pretty on you! I never really wear blush. I use BareMinerals and use their bronzer, but I’ve never tried their blush. I never know what color I should wear!
Thank you!! You should definitely try blush, it’s just an easy way to add color to your face. Plus if you do it right it creates a natural looking glow. The best way to find the most natural color for yourself is to pinch your cheeks (don’t hurt yourself) so the blood starts flowing and the shade they turn should be your best shade. Then you can go from there! :)
Such a pretty color!!
I know right?!
Wow! This is an excellent review. This color is beautiful on you and I love the pictures. I’m even going to pin your face :) Haha. I will definitely be coming back here for tips because I certainly don’t know enough…as I was reading I was hoping for an “application” section *face palms*
Thank you so much Holly!! Haha thank you for pinning my face, not sure how well that will go over! :)
Aww I totally could have included an “application” section, but I will just tell you now. Using the brush I mentioned I start applying to blush on the apples of the cheeks and brushing it back towards the hairline. If you use light strokes it looks much more natural and less harsh, also make sure you blend with that brush, you don’t want just 1 line of blush. Hope this helps! :)
Cute post! I honestly can’t get into blush because I’m scared of color in my face (I use bronzer instead). But you put yours on very nicely!
Thanks! Really?! You are missing out! Blush is so fun!!
