Like I mentioned above I have always heard of how great Paula’s Choice is, but for whatever never tried it until now. I talked to a really nice lady from Paula’s Choice who gave me a quick and easy skincare consultation over the phone. She asked me all kinds of questions about my skin which I was really loving because most of the time I just research products that might work with my oily skin, talking to a professional was a whole new experience for me. You can have a free skin care consultation too by calling 800-431-4088 (your skin will thank you)!!

Because I have really oily skin, large pores, and sometimes I get breakouts she came up with a regimen that was perfect for me.

Paula's Choice Skincare for Oily Skin + Self Tanner

Cleanser: Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser — This cleanser is amazing, it is a lightweight white creamy cleanser that is perfect for sensitive skin. It removes excess oil and makeup… and I mean it removes EVERYTHING!

Exfoliant: Resist Daily Pore-Refiner Treatment 2% BHA — this exfoliant is perfect for me because I have large pores, this is great at unclogging pores which makes them appear smaller. This also reduces signs of aging, as well as smooths skin’s texture. I apply this all over my face with a cotton round.

Treatment: Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum — This is an orange silicone type serum that is perfect for oil reduction, minimizing the appearance of pores, clearing up acne, and fighting the signs of aging. I apply this all over my face with my fingers. It absorbs into the skin quickly and does it’s job.

Self Tanner: Sun 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate — This is the perfect sun without the sun damage. This product is really unique to me because it is a straight up tan concentrate, so depending on how deep of a tan you want is how much you will use. I love that you can customize your tan with this product. It also gives a very nice, even tan with no streaks.

How to use:

  • Cleanse and exfoliate your skin in the shower
  • Start with clean, dry skin
  • Dispense your favorite face or body moisturizer into the palm of your hand, and then add 2-3 pumps
  • Apply evenly and smoothly, one area at a time.
  • Wash hands thoroughly to avoid tan palms and cuticles.
  • Wait 10-15 minutes for the skin to completely dry before dressing.
  • Color should develop in 1–3 hours and may continue to deepen for a few hours after that.
  • Full results are visible in 24-48 hours. on added the sunless tan concentrate to your own face or body moisturizer.
