Happy Monday!!!
Um…excuse me but where has this year gone? It is almost October, it seems like it was just January the other day… weird. Anyways just like every month I show you all my favorites I’ve been enjoying for the whole month, and this month I’ve got some really great hidden gems. Stick around to see them!
September Favorites
1 // Not pictured above but definitely one of my favorite things in September was teaming up with 18 other girls to do Fall Welcome Week. It was seriously so much fun! If you missed all 3 of my posts check them out ( 1 | 2 |and 3) and make sure you check out the other blogs as well, they are listed on each Fall post. :)
2 // Maybelline ColorStay Tattoo Cream Shadow in Bold Gold: If you saw where I started Project 10 Pan you will notice this from that. I haven’t used this in a long time because I honestly just kept forgetting about it. But doing my project I use it almost every time I wear makeup and I have seriously fallen back in love with this. It is so creamy and pigmented and will literally last all day long on the lid without creasing. It is a really nice gold color that I feel like brightens up the eye. Perfect paired with browns, or greens, or bronze shades. This is seriously amazing!!
3 // Urban Decay Naked Basics: This is the original palette and I LOVE this thing. I have had it for a long time now and I don’t know why I’ve never really mentioned it before. But it has really great matte colors, perfect for blending or applying to the crease. You can use a shimmery shadow on the lid and use the dark brown, or black in this palette in the crease and it’s amazing. Great for travel too. I haven’t tried the Naked Basics 2 yet, but I don’t know how it can beat this baby!
4 // Vaseline Healthy Hand and Nail Lotion: I was rummaging through some of my moms beauty goodies one day and I found this and kept it haha. But this is amazing. It is a lotion specifically designed for your hands and nails. It makes your hands really soft and hydrated which is great because your hands and neck are the first things that start showing age, so moisturizing your hands as much as you can will prevent aging. I love using this at night before bed. It also states that in 2 weeks your nails will be 10x stronger. I can’t attest to that because my nails are always pretty strong.
5 // Essence Nail Art Express Dry Drops: Oh My Goodness, if you paint your nails YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE. I don’t understand how these work at all, but they do. Basically you paint your nails, and while they are still wet apply 1-2 drops of this liquid goodness from the eye dropper and it drys your nails instantly. I’m not kidding you guys, it is the fastest stuff I’ve ever seen! And this is super affordable. I love it and you will too, perfect for times when you just gotta get out the door or you can use it every time like me because I get impatient.
What beauty products have you been loving in September? And what do you look forward to most in October?
I will definitely have to try to color tattoo in “Bold Gold”! I wear “Bad to the Bronze” everyday-you’re right, they last forever!
Yes girl!! It is really nice, and it just adds a pop to that eyes that I can’t describe! I love wearing it in the inner corner of my eyes and it really makes me look even more awake! I love it!!
I’d love to try the Essie drops. Just like you, I’m so impatient and always end up smearing my polish.
Yea these work so great!! They are actually by Essence, found at Ulta, but I’m sure Essie makes some too! :)
I loved Fall Welcome Week too : ) Jenna is a genius! I’m pretty sure I need #4 and #5 in my life RIGHT NOW. I recently started using Vaseline lotions and I really love them.
Yea definitely get 4 and 5, they are both so great as well as the rest of my favorites!! But seriously those nail drops… mind blown! :)
I can’t believe it’s almost October either!! I love when I find makeup in my case that I completely forgot about (and it’s still good to use) – it’s like getting a brand new treat from the store without spending any $ haha! I’m a big fan of the Vaseline lotion – I also borrowed it from my mom first but it is such a great hand product, especially when it starts getting colder out and my hands go all chapped! Stopping by from Peony – happy Monday! :)
I know it’s like finding money in a coat pocket you haven’t worn since last winter! :)
Haha that’s so funny that we both got it from our mothers! It is so nice though, if I put it on at night my hands are still nice and moisturized the next day! Thanks so much for stopping by girl! :)
I keep hearing great things about those color stay tattoos. I think it’s time to pick one up!
Oh yea you should totally try one. A lot of drugstores have buy one get one sales on these too, so you can try a couple colors!
I love the nail drops! I was using Essie’s version for awhile but then switched to SecheVite and it’s amazingly fast, too! Crazy how fast that stuff works! Annnnd I’m definitely going to have to find that hand lotion! :)
I had never tried any nail drops before, but I had seen them. I guess I just thought they were gimmicky or something because I didn’t think they would work as well as they do at all. It’s crazy! Yea definitely give the hand lotion a try. It moisturizes really well without being greasy at all.
Wow, I need those nail drops! I am always messing up my nails because I try to do too much before they are dry. All of your favorites sound awesome. I want to try them all!
Oh yea you definitely need these then! They are just so amazing, but such a mystery too! I don’t get it! haha! :)
I will definitely be checking out a lot of these! I’ve been curious about the color stay eye tattoo for awhile now! Thanks for sharing :)
Yea girl definitely check some of these out! I had forgotten how great the ColorStay tattoos were and I’m so glad I rediscovered them. They come in tons of colors too! :)
