Hey everyone! I cannot believe the first day of Spring is next week!! I cannot wait, I love Spring so much, first of all the weather is perfection, and spring always reminds me of change like flowers blooming and brightening up the world, and new trends, such as Spring 2015 Lip Trends straight from the runway. Keep reading to see what they are.
Spring 2015 Lip Trends
Spring 2015 Lip Trends are all about the bold, fiery colors. Look forward to seeing lots of berry shades along with bright fiery orange/red hues.
Another big trend to look out for in Spring 2015 is lipstick that is almost rough around the edges, and by that I mean not a harsh defined line like you would see when applying lipstick directly from the tube, or by using a brush.
Get this technique by applying your lipstick with your finger in dabbing motions. This will make the outer edges much softer as well as give your lips a stained-just-eaten-a-Popsicle look. “You shouldn’t be able to tell where it starts and where it ends.”

Is this a trend you think you will be participating in? I definitely think I will give it a try, I’m used to applying my lipstick just from the tube, but applying it this way does it make it look more natural, perfect for daytime use!
so many options! i just *finally* organized my lipsticks by color, so i can’t wait to get out the Pink drawer!
Aww I love organizing makeup haha, enjoy your pink drawer of lippies! :)

Ooh cherry on top is so beautiful and I love the colour whisper formula – going on my shopping list for sure!
Yea definitely get that one, it’s so wearable I love it!! :)
Oh Anna, that NYX neon pink looks very fun! I am gonna try to get that! Hope you have a wonderful weekend my dear (has spring arrived yet in Atlanta?)
Oh yea girl definitely get it! It’s such a fun color!! Thank you hun, Spring arrived, and then left, and hopefully it arrives again this weekend haha! I bet it is nice and sunny in FL! :)
I really want the cherry on top color and the last NYX color.. I just wrote them down!
Girl you should get them both!! :)

Interesting! I’m so new to wearing lipstick that I didn’t even know about this trend. It looks pretty, though! I really like these colors you shared, too. Especially the top one!
Yea you should definitely try it because it will give your lips a more natural look which is great since you are new to wearing lipstick. I think you might like it! :)
You should definitely get Cherry On Top, it’s such a fun but wearable color!!
I’m honestly not sure of I’ll participate in the ‘Popsicle stained lipstick trend’. I’ve always been the lipstick wearer (is that a word?) who wants it to look like I’m wearing lipstick. Why go to all that trouble then? Haha! But that’s just me! Maybe on those natural days when I’m just wearing foundation and some mascara :-)
Yea I’m with you, I think this would be nice for those days where I’m just throwing on some makeup and running errands or something, but definitely not something I will do all the time. I’m definitely a big lipstick wearer and I want my lipstick to be pigmented and just looking good. I will for sure give this a try though! :)
Thanks for yet another great tip, Anna. With spring on the way (we are hoping here on the east coast) it’s nice to have a reminder of what good lipstick application looks like!
You are so welcome!! Spring is definitely on the way, although it is a little chilly in GA today! Thanks for stopping by Becky! :)
I love these colors! My favorite is “Cherry On Top”. I like that dabbing the lipstick on with your finger gives it a softer look, especially since I’m not used to wearing bold lip color every day.
Yea Cherry On Top is a great color for dabbing on the lips with a fingertip, it to me already looks like you just ate a popsicle and doing that technique will really enhance that. Definitely give it a try! :)
Oh I love that last NYX color! Nothing like a good, powerful pink. :) Trying your dabbing technique this weekend for sure! Thanks for your expertise!
I know that NYX lipstick is amazing!! Definitely try it, I’ve tried it and it is nice for when you are wanting something more on the natural side instead of in your face lipstick!! :)
