Tati Beauty Blendiful Review + 6 Year Blogiversary
What is it.
“The Blendiful is the makeup applicator you didn’t know you needed. This game changing soft textured fabric tool is a blending dream that’s designed to seamlessly apply & soften both liquid and powder products. The rounded edge & pointed tip help to provide a perfect blend step to step in your makeup application. Buff in foundation with little product waste, experience seamless contour, smoother concealer & the most airbrushed powder application… even in those hard to reach areas of the face. Save product, save time & become the expert artist of your own unique routine. However you choose to use the Blendiful, your look will be one with no harsh lines every time.” – Tati
How to Use it.
The Blendiful can be used for primer, liquid foundation and powder products.
Tati said the best primer to use this with is a pore blurring primer, you won’t really get results from any other type of primer, like a hydrating one etc.
Just like with a Beauty Blender, you can pump your liquid foundation directly onto the Blendiful or dot it on your face to blend out.
Pat the foundation into your skin, until your face is fully covered. Because the Blendiful is a large size, it takes no time to get your foundation on your skin and looking amazing. It is a super soft material, so it feels really nice on the skin.
A helpful hint when applying foundation with this, is to only pat in the foundation and not drag it. With a Beauty Blender I have always switched back and forth between patting and dragging and it always worked for me. Dragging with the Blendiful will actually smear the foundation, making it come off in certain areas and leave streaks.
(yes my nails are extremely grown out here, I got them done the next day).
To apply concealer, I apply the concealer directly to my under eye area and bend the Blendiful into a pointed shape to really get in the inner corner of the eyes and blend the concealer out.
Dip it into your powder of choice and press the powder into the face. Pressing the powder into the face rather than dusting it on with a brush, will help the powder absorb any oil that tries to creep through throughout the day.
Doing this will give your skin such a smooth canvas.
The Blendiful can also be used for contour, blush and other powder products. I actually haven’t tried it for this yet, I’m not sure how much control I would have with contour or blush with the Blendiful, so for now I will continue using my brushes.
Care.
Taking care of The Blendiful is easy. Tati says you can wash it with soap or throw it in the washing machine and all the makeup will come out. For me, it seemed too time consuming to wash it every single day, so I found washing it once a week worked for me. When I am ready to wash it, I just wash it in my sink, you can use a makeup brush cleaner, or shampoo, or even a regular body soap. It comes out spotless. It does take about a full day to dry.
Mini Blendiful.
The Mini Blendiful is obviously a lot smaller, but it is more firm as well. I like to use this one later in the day after I’ve been wearing my makeup for a while. You can blot with this, and fix any places where you makeup may have rubbed off. Is it a must have? No, but it a nice addition to the large Blendiful.
Price & Where to Buy.
The Blendiful comes in a cute set with both the mama and baby for $18. That’s a great price in my opinion. You can find this at www.tatibeauty.com
Final Thoughts.
I am really enjoying this new tool to apply makeup. I have used a Beauty Blender for a really long time now and it has always worked for me. This is just as good and in some ways better than a BB. With the BB being a wet sponge, it can absorb some of the foundation, so essentially it is wasting that foundation, because you aren’t getting to use it, it’s soaking into the sponge instead. With a Blendiful you can actually tell you are using more of the product, so it is more cost effective that way. I also like that you don’t have to wet it everyday, you just use it as is.
Like I mentioned earlier it covers a large area, so you can get your foundation on quickly for those who have to get ready in a hurry. In comparison to the Beauty Blender, I do think I have more control with the BB vs the Blendiful, that could change with time tho.
I feel like this does make my makeup look pretty stinkin’ flawless. It looks very smooth and even. I have also noticed my makeup actually lasts longer throughout the day (probably because of how I apply my powder now).
I really love this, I think you should definitely give it a try! It’s a great product for the price, and you won’t be disappointed.
Will I throw away my Beauty Blender? No, I honestly I will use both. They are both great at applying makeup, and I can interchange them out, when one is dirty, use the other.
Just get it. It’s great!

6 Year Blogiversary.
There is no way I can finish this post without mentioning my 6th Blogiversary! I seriously can’t believe it’s been SIX years! Reminiscing about sitting on the floor in my living room, doing my first DIY project for this blog (read that here). I had a vision, and a dream for this blog, that has definitely been surpassed in these 6 years.
I’ve had 1.5 MILLION views over these past 6 years and I can’t wait for 2 Mill!
The fact that people still come to read what I have to say about the latest makeup trends, or products blows my mind, but I’m so grateful!
Do I post consistently? Not as much as I used to, but I still have a passion for this, and I am still motivated. Sometimes life just gets in the way. But I do my best.
I love my little home on the internet that is all mine. I can write about the things that make me happy. And it’s so much fun!
