Hey everyone! I hope you are doing great today! Sorry I haven’t posted in a couple weeks again… it’s just taking me some time to get back into blogging again. Read my last post to find out more. So today I am doing a review on The totally popular Jaclyn Hill Palette with Morphe. I’ve had this palette for a while now and I wanted to make sure I used every single color before reviewing it, so I could give you the best review possible. Keep reading if you want my 100% honest thoughts on this palette.
The Jaclyn Hill Palette Review & Swatches
First of all let me just tell you… I didn’t buy into the hype of this palette, I didn’t buy it because everyone was buying it. I actually really love Jaclyn Hill, I watch every one of her videos and this was my way of supporting her. She is amazing at makeup, and she’s freakin’ hilarious! Plus the palette looked absolutely gorgeous when she released photos, so I knew I had to get it.
Packaging:
It comes in a white box, which I didn’t snap a picture of, but the box has her name on it much like the palette itself does. On the back it has 4 pictures of her and a little bio. It’s cute and a keepsake for a JH fan. The palette itself is white with silver letters as you can see above. It is all cardboard. I think the packaging looks really sleek, but it definitely gets dirty. If you look closely you can see mine is bit dirty, but it can easily be cleaned off with a damp cloth if you desire.
The inside of the palette is silver. It has 35 shades each at 1.9oz.
On the inside top of the palette instead of a mirror, she has a note to her subscribers. I thought that was cute, but not totally necessary. The palette also comes with a card with each shade and its name. I saw someone else cover the “thanks to the fans” with this card and some tape so you can have the shade names handy. Not a bad idea.
Price & Where to Buy:
This palette is $38 without tax/shipping and can be found only at Morphe’s website. I think $38 for the quality and number of shadows this palette has is an absolute steal! I would pay double or more for this.
*If I’m not mistaken it is currently sold out… but go to the Morphe site and sign up to get notified upon restock!
The Shadows:
Oh my goodness I love the shadows in this palette. If I were to dream up my own palette… this would be it. I’m just telling you, it’s that good.
Like I said this platte includes 35 brand new Morphe shadows that have never been used in a palette before. Ranging from neutral, warm, and pops of color. Matte to Metallic.
Jaclyn worked so hard on this, she didn’t just slap her name on it saying she did a collab with Morphe, she put in 2 years of really hard work, going back and forth to the lab and dreaming up every shade, texture, finish and naming every shade for personal reasons and stories in her life. She should be so proud of the work she put into this. I know I’m proud of her.
Swatches.
Just to keep it 100… none of these pictures have a filter or extreme editing done. What you see in each picture is what you get in real life. Also I did one swatch of each color with my finger without primer or Fix+ to intensify the color. When I use them on my lids I always use a primer and Smashbox Primer Water to make those metallic shades pop!
First Row: Enlight, Beam, Silk Creme, M.F.E.O, Faint, Sissy, Little Lady
Second Row: Creamscicle, Butter, Pooter, Pukey, Hunts, Firework, Queen
Third Row: Obsessed, S.B.N, Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz (I’m a total goon and completely forgot to swatch Jacz… but believe me it’s gorgeous!) , Buns, Cranapple
Fourth Row: Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 24/7, Chip, Mocha
Fifth Row: Pool Party, Jade, Diva, Enchanted, Centra, Park, Soda Pop, Abyss
These shades are so pigmented… not just the metallics but the mattes are super rich in color and not patchy at all.
I just had to take a picture of all the metallic friends together because they just look so pretty together.
Final Thoughts.
This palette is everything. I have literally worn it every. single. day since I got it. So I have worn this for 36 days total, 2 of which were Saturdays that I just didn’t put any makeup on at all. But 36 days of wearing the same palette is a lot. I have tons of palettes that I have honestly just forgotten about. The quality of theses shadows is like none other, the mattes are super pigmented and beautiful, and the metallics are so smooth and almost wet like with light reflecting particles. I’m just obsessed. I think everyone, with every skin color, eye color and hair color could find their perfect shadows in this palette. I have received so many compliments when I wear this. If you are a collector of eye shadow palettes you need this one, it isn’t just for hype, but the quality, consistency, and color pay off and price and a complete game changer for the makeup world.
Can you tell I love it?! :)

What kind of posts would you like to see from me?
The palette looks incredibly nice! I’d love to get my hands on one of Jaclyn’s palettes. Do you find the shadows blend out really smoothly as well? Are they patchy at all?
Julia // The Sunday Mode
Hey! This palette is amazing! I used it everyday for a straight year without touching another palette. It’s so creamy, pigmented and just beautiful! Still my favorite palette to date. None of the shadows are patchy, and they blend like a dream. I am doing a review of her newest Vault Collection very soon, so please check back to see that! :)
Thanks for review! I having been eyeing this but have been on the fence about it so now I guess I will definitely be purchasing!
You should definitely get it! I think it is back in stock right now! It is such a good palette that I literally use every single day. It’s great!!!
I would love this palette, but Morphe charges over $60 to ship to Australia, which I’m not prepared to pay that much for. Great review! xx

Oh no!! I am so sorry that the shipping is so high to send it to Austrailia! Hopefully, they will change that soon! Thank you so much for stopping by!
