Hey guys… Remember me?! I know, I know it’s been a long time. I’m so sorry. I really don’t have an excuse for why I didn’t blog barely any last year, the world is crazy and I just didn’t devote time to it. But I’m back and hoping to do more posts in 2022.
How are you?! Did you make it thru 2021? What a year right? I am praying 2022 is the best year yet for all of us! Currently I am sitting in my bedroom while watching snow fall outside. It’s beautiful. Anyways on to the post. Today I am talking about Things I’m Loving as of recent. Keep reading to see it all.
Things I’m Loving.
I’ve fallen in love with some great products over the last few months and if you are like me you are always on the hunt for some new beauty item. So let me walk you through my favorites.
Dry Shampoo.
Hask Charcoal Purifying Dry Shampoo // Back in 2019 I trained my hair to not have to wash it as much (I would love to do a blog post on that soon). But one of the essential things you need is a good dry shampoo. Not every dry shampoo is going to work for everyone. The reason I even tried this one is because I LOVED the one from IGK, First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo, it makes my hair look so fresh, but it’s also pretty expensive, especially if you use it often. So I was looking for a drugstore version when I came across this one… with the CHARCOAL in it. The first time I tried it I knew it would replace the IGK one. It soaks up oil, makes my hair look fresh, gives me volume and doesn’t make my hair feel worse than before. I typically use this on day 3 or 4. I highly recommend this.
Neck Cream.
Active Science Triple Neck Firming Cream // Last year I lost 38 pounds! Yay! But since I had a double chin for years when I started losing weight in my face and chin area I ended up with the dreaded saggy neck. It was so bad, it aged me 10 years, and honestly I was embarrassed by it. I’m 35, there was no way I wanted a saggy neck for the rest of my life. So I started looking on Amazon and I found THIS. Guys I’m TELLING YOU… this worked so fast. I swear in one use it was already looking much better. It’s a thick consistency but it sinks into the skin quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It also has a cooling sensation that I really enjoy. This can be used morning and night. Just push the product in an upward circular motion. I’m on my second jar of this. You need this… even if you don’t have a saggy neck, you can prevent from having one later. 10 out of 10!
Mascara.
Bite Upswing Full Volume Mascara // I feel like I am always looking for new mascaras or wanting to try something new. I think I heard about this one from someone on YouTube. They seemed to really like it, so I wanted to give it a try. I love this mascara. It does exactly what it says. Volumizes. It makes my lashes look so full, long and dark. Add this to your cart today, you won’t regret it!
Foundation.
L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation // Kind of like mascara I’m always looking at switching up my foundation and trying something new. This has been around for a long time and I’ve bought it several times, but I rediscovered it recently. I love how long lasting this foundation is, but also how it doesn’t look too matte, or too dull, but like it says, it is fresh wear. It is medium to full coverage and can easily be built up. I use a beauty sponge to apply this. It goes great with primer and all other makeup. If you are looking for an affordable drugstore foundation, give this a go!
Lipstick.
Charlotte Tillbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillowtalk // This lipstick is famous at this point, so I am sure you have heard of it. It has quickly become my go-to, that I just keep in my purse and pop on. It is so versatile, it goes with tons of makeup looks. It’s a nude pink with warm undertones. I wouldn’t say it’s super matte, but more of a cream. It isn’t very long lasting, but I’m okay with that. It’s just such a staple lipstick that every girl should have in their collection. Iconic.
Blush.
Huda Beauty GloWish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder in Caring Coral // I picked this up randomly one day and I’m so glad I did. I love blush, it can turn your face makeup from looking dull to bright with life. This formula and color are gorgeous. It’s a natural looking flush, but with some glow to it, this really makes the skin look healthy. I have a lot of blushes and I reach for this A LOT. It goes on smooth and works well with other products. So beautiful. I’d love to try the other shades. (sorry the swatch picture is blurry).
Setting Spray.
Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray // I was having issues with texture showing up on my face and came to realize it was the beauty sponge I was using that was causing texture that I didn’t actually have. What does that have to do with this setting spray?! In my research for the texture issue, I found this girl on YouTube talking about how this setting spray makes you look flawless. It is in the name, I will say when it is first sprayed it does look pretty dang flawless. Throughout the day I can’t say that this makes my makeup last extra long or anything. I will say if you spray it again in the middle of the day or before you go out to dinner it does refresh your makeup. I am really enjoying this. Plus it smells so good!
Well guys that is everything I have been loving lately. I hope you enjoyed this post. Hopefully I will continue to blog this year and keep you guys informed on all the good beauty products out there. What are some things you’ve been loving? Let me know down below!
