Today I’m talking to you about the Urban Decay Afterglow Long Wear Blush. These are actually pretty new blushes but I have been obsessed with them lately. I have 2 shades, but the shade Fetish (this shade) is the most wedding appropriate!

What it is:

Get all-day radiance and streak-free color with Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush by Urban Decay. The foolproof way to create that effortless, radiant look, this extremely blendable, finely milled formula goes on sheer and provides eight long hours of wearable color.

Why this is great for a wedding:

Like it says above it lasts 8 hours, and we know wedding days can be long, so depending on how long your wedding day is, you may need to touch this up just a bit, but when I use it this will last on the cheeks a full 8-10 hours. It always gives off a really healthy glow to the skin. This is a matte shade with absolutely no sparkle or sheen, but yet this still glows on the skin, I have no idea how but it just gives off a warm glow perfect for a wedding day and all the many pictures that come with it.

How I apply it:

I apply this with the Real Techniques Blush Brush and start by applying the blush on the apples of my cheeks following quick strokes up towards my temple. It blends out really nicely and smooth for a streak free application.

Price & Where to Buy:

These blushes are $26 each and can be found at Ulta and Sephora.

So this is the blush I would be wearing on my wedding day, or even as a bridesmaid. Another great option would be any of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes, they are beautiful and really long lasting as well.

Have you tried these new blushes? If you are married what blush did you wear on your big day?
