Hey! What is up? I hope you are doing great! Let’s just get right into this, You NEED This Foundation that I’m about to talk about. So after you read this just click one of the links (not sponsored) and buy this… you won’t regret it. But before I get too carried away and give you all the details up front, click below to keep reading.
You NEED This Foundation
Okay so before I actually get into this post, I wanted to try out using my phone to take pictures today instead of my camera. Let me know what you think. My phone takes great pictures, so if it’s easier, why not you know?
Pacifica Alight Clean Foundation.
A little bit about what the makers say about this foundation
“This innovative, non-comedogenic, dermatologist tested formula goes on smooth, covers pores and lasts throughout the day. This formula is free of silicone, parabens, phthalates, talc, BHA, BHT, petroleum and drying alcohols (and a huge list of other things your skin doesn’t love).”
This foundation is super clean, leaving out a bunch of stuff that isn’t good for our skin, plus it cruelty free and vegan free!
It claims to…
- Flawless, seamless coverage
- Skin feels clean
- More radiant, healthy looking skin
- Pore free appearance and vibrant
- Lasts day to night
After 6 weeks of use… (I haven’t been using it for 6 weeks so I can’t attest to this)
- Skin looks more healthy*
- Skin feels smoother*
Packaging.
It comes in a really nice, slim sleek glass bottle with a pump (thank goodness). The packaging is super nice and feels high end. The pump works great, I haven’t had any issues of the pump clogging up and squirting everywhere when you try to use it.(that has happened to me way too many times with other foundations).
Price & Where to Buy.
This foundation is $16 which I feel like a great price for the quality of foundation you are getting, and to be honest I would spend way more on this foundation if I had to.
I found mine at Ulta, you can also get this at Target and Amazon
Something for Everyone.
This foundation comes in 30 shades, how amazing is that? Every skin tone should be able to find their match. Not only that, but it is also good for every skin type. I have combo/oily skin and most foundations that work for my skin definitely won’t work for someone with dry or normal skin. This one does, it isn’t drying in the slightest and it has a satin finish which is perfect for anyone with dry or normal skin, but it also is 100% oil free and anti-shine so anyone with oily skin can wear this too.
I apply this with a Beauty Blender (see post here), but a brush would work too!
On my Face.
This is me at 6:30am this morning after putting on all my makeup, still in my jammies :)
No filters, it’s just a beautiful flawless finish. And yes I know my chest and face don’t exactly match, my chest is always a little red, so I match my shoulders and the rest of me to my face.
Here is the foundation around 1:30pm after 7 hours of wear. You can see it has broken up just a little on the cheeks, nose and a little on the forehead, but nothing to really complain about. If it’s a really hot day (and it has been super hot in GA), I will blot my face after work if I’m going somewhere besides home, but it can definitely get me through a work day. It doesn’t oxidize, the color pretty much stays the same all day,
Final Thoughts:
I was and still am pleasantly surprised by this foundation. I Googled foundations a couple weeks ago to try to find a good foundation I can wear to work that isn’t super expensive, I can wear my high ends for the weekend. This kept coming up in articles and posts so I decided to give it a shot. What was intended to be a “wear-to-work” foundation ended up being a “wear-all-the-time” foundation. It’s THAT good! Every time I look in the mirror it just looks GOOD, I can’t explain it other than you need to try it! :)
What is your favorite drugstore foundation? Let me know!
Thank you for stopping by. See my last post on My Top MAC Lipsticks here!
This post came right on time! I’m looking for a new foundation to try and you had me at “oil free”! Thanks!
The packaging looks very nice
You look beautiful. I like that this is vegan, I don’t see why animal products have to be in foundation. I thought this is luminous, but the package your holding says satin finish. I like Pacifica products. Love their coconut shampoo. So I’ll have to try this… Thanks!
Thank you so much girl! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to your comment, I took a little break! Yea no need for animal products or animal testing in my opinion. Yea it is more of a satin finish, but if you wear it all day and get really oily it is luminous! haha! :)
Let me know if you try it!
